November 16 [Day 82] (Valley View site) Strong W winds blew all day, with the temperature 4C at 0710 rising to 6C at 1200 and staying there for the rest of the day. Cloud cover was 100-70% cumulus, altostratus and cirrus giving excellent observing conditions. A total of 18 migrant raptors moved between 0910 and 1557, 11 of which occurred before noon.
